CBFY Staff Awarded Bernard Laven Program Development Award

In a testament to our community partnerships and outstanding staff members, CBFY In School Settlement Practitioner Svitlana Dubovetska was acknowledged with the Bernard Laven Program Development Award by the Jewish Family Service Centre Calgary.  Presented at their Annual General Meeting on September 19th, this award was earned as a result of outstanding service and Russian translation efforts done by Svitlana for their clients.

The Jewish Family Service Calgary strengthens communities by providing social services to individuals and families based on the Jewish values of compassion, social justice and improving the world.
