Changing the world starts with the willingness to see the good within in. On Wednesday October 26th, eight students from CBFY’s Mentorship program attended Calgary’s WE DAY event at the Scotiabank Saddledome. An event created for youth to celebrate and acknowledge the potential within, the uproar and energy from the crowd was inspirational! An assortment of inspirational youth speakers were not out shadowed by the likes of astronaut Chris Hadfield, pop star Paula Abdul, or rapper Classified. The true stars of the show, were Calgary’s youth that brought an unyielding vivacity to the event.
Our Mentorship students from Nelson Mandela and Father Lacombe High Schools left with a cultivated passion to inspire social impact in their schools and communities!
