Bridge Club Registration for Elementary school-aged children is open.
Join us online and in-person as we play games, host fun workshops, go on field trips, make friends, and much more.
Who: Grades 1-6, 1st/2nd Generation Immigrants, Low-Income, Indigenous Youth
When: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday starting Oct 13, 2020, @ 4:30 pm- 5:30 pm

Bridge Club is a stepping stone for the immigrant, newcomer, low income, and Indigenous youth to positively engage in virtual and in-person activities that will help them develop skills to overcome language, cultural and social barriers. Program participants will have an opportunity to build confidence and friendships while they practice their English language skills and learn more about Canadian culture. Participants will learn computer skills, participate in discussions, recreational/ virtual games, arts, crafts, and STEM projects. They will also be mentored by their facilitators, which will encourage the growth of their self-esteem and confidence.
