Bridgefest 2019

On July 27, 2019, families kicked off their weekend with fun and celebration for diversity at BridgeFest, hosted by The Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth. Children got to explore different cultural crafts and snacks, while enjoying amazing performances by the Jiang Zhe Shang Hai Association’s Dance Group and puppeteer Michelle Warkentin. Newcomer families had the opportunity to learn about community resources from amazing organizations, such as Glenbow Museum, Fresh Routes and NStep. In partnership with The Calgary Public Library, BridgeFest was held at The Central Library in downtown East Village.
