CBFY is Awarded $40,000 Donation from RBC Foundation

On Friday, September 9, Umashanie Reddy, CEO of The Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth, accepted a $40,000 donation from the RBC Foundation to sustain programming of the RBC Youth Empowerment Program delivered at John G. Diefenbaker High School five days a week for two hours after school. This exemplary program offers free tutoring for immigrant and refugee youth in all core subjects, encourages high school graduation and post-secondary education and promotes independence, confidence, and cross-cultural awareness.
