Former CBFY Youth Selected as Keynote Speaker for Filipino Champions Talk

Levynne Balatbat, a former student of The Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth (CBFY), is one of the keynote speakers for the Filipino Champions Talk (FCT) evening where successful and inspirational Filipino-Canadians share their life stories of how they became successful in Canada. Levynne joined a CBFY program called the Rogers Youth Empowerment when it started in 2011. He was a participant for four years and acclaims that CBFY “changes lives – like mine – gave me hope – a beacon to show me where I am heading.” After graduating from the Rogers Youth Empowerment Program in 2014, Levynne is currently attending SAIT working towards his goal of becoming a Culinary Arts teacher.
