National Volunteer Week: Volunteer Highlights

Bruce Hewitt, a retired engineer from oil and gas, has been volunteering at CBFY since 2016, the year the Volunteer Resources Program was created. Bruce has been tutoring Math and Science to high school students in different programs (the RBC Youth Empowerment Program, NxtGen Homework Club and One-on-One Tutoring Program). As a tutor, Bruce has supported many high schoolers’ academic development and has contributed to their settlement and immigration journey. We want to thank Bruce for his continued commitment.
