Bridge Fest 2026
Celebrate summer with us at a fun-filled event for CBFY summer program participants and their families!
Open to all youth participating in one of our summer programs, this FREE event will feature local service booths, games and prizes, free snacks, and opportunities to connect with other families. This event is funded in part by the Government of Alberta.

WIN & NOW Summer Camp
A summer program for recent newcomers in grades 7 to 12
Open to students in Grades 7–12, this FREE two-day program helps newcomers feel confident and prepared for school in Canada! Participants will learn about Canadian culture, explore Alberta’s education system, enjoy interactive activities and a field trip, make new friends, and create lifelong memories along the way.
🗓️ Date: August 18 & 19 (Tuesday & Wednesday)
🕒 Time: 10 AM – 3 PM each day

Peer Mentor Training & Summer Camp
In Grades 10–12 and been in Canada for at least one year? Join us!
Become a Peer Mentor, then volunteer during our WIN & NOW Summer Camp! This is an opportunity for youth in grades 10-12 to build leadership and mentorship skills, make new friends, and gain confidence through games and activities. In addition to the training time below, Peer Mentors, must be available to attend the Summer WIN & NOW camp on Tuesday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 19 from 9 AM to 3 PM both days.
