Who We Are
The Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth (CBFY) is a trusted charitable organization dedicated to empowering newcomer youth and families. Through education, community connection, and mental health support, we help young people succeed and belong.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the backbone of program operations, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes while supporting teams that change lives every day.
Your impact will include:
• Keeping teams organized by managing schedules, meetings, and calendars
• Coordinating events and activities that bring communities together
• Capturing key decisions by taking and sharing meeting minutes
• Supporting recruitment of program participants
• Managing and organizing data to support reporting and decision-making
• Strengthening communication across teams and programs
• Preparing reports for leadership and program management
• Collaborating with a supportive team of Program Administrators
• Providing guidance to volunteers and practicum students when needed
What You Bring
You’re someone who enjoys staying organized, loves working with people, and takes pride in getting the details right.
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
• Excellent organization and time management
• Ability to multitask and stay proactive
• Confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• A collaborative and positive attitude
Bonus if you have:
• A degree (or working toward one) in Business Administration or a related field
• 1–2 years of administrative or non-profit experience
Eligibility (Required)
This position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Program:
• Must be 15-30 years of age
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Official Refugee Protection Status)
Additional Requirements
• First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Police Record Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Child Intervention Check (or willingness to obtain)
