Power of Voice Youth Conference

CBFY’s Mentorship Program is excited to host its annual Power of Voice Youth Conference on Saturday, March 2, 2024!

Join us at the Calgary Central Library from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

This is an annual event for newcomer youth across the city of Calgary to engage them in various topics such as self-expression, mental health, resiliency, and more!

The conference aims to create a platform where, together, newcomer youth can develop a stronger understanding of voice, identity, and well-being.

This year’s conference theme is “Youth Voices Shaping Tomorrow!”

Open to students in grades 7 to 12,  it’s a day to celebrate diversity, connect with others, and discover how YOU can make a difference! This conference empowers newcomer youth to recognize their potential in using their voices for change, and learn tools to make an impact, both personally and within their community.

Attendees will receive a swag bag, a free lunch, and the chance to win lots of prizes throughout the day!
