35 for 35: Honoring the Past, Shaping the Future

For 35 years, The Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth has walked alongside newcomer children and teens as they begin their lives in Canada. We have been a first friend, a trusted guide, and a steady source of support during moments that can feel overwhelming. Every day, our teams work to make sure young people feel seen, safe, and welcomed. We help them find confidence, community, and a true sense of belonging.

This year marks a special milestone for CBFY. We are celebrating 35 years of building bridges to belonging, and we want to honour that history with something simple and meaningful. We are inviting our community to donate $35. One dollar for every year we have supported young people who are carving out their futures in a new country.

Our goal is to raise $35,000 in support of our programs. These funds will help us meet the growing needs of newcomer youth and provide the safe spaces, mentorship, and opportunities they rely on. Your gift of $35 helps create environments where youth can build friendships, strengthen their learning, and develop leadership skills that will stay with them for life.
