Celebrating Power of Voice 2024!

We’re thrilled to share the success of the CBFY youth conference, Power of Voice 2024! This event was made possible by the hard work and dedication of our staff, volunteers, practicum students, community partners, and all the incredible entertainers and guest speakers.

We’re grateful for the energetic atmosphere created by over 200 youth who attended the event!

A big thank you to the Power of Voice 2024 Committee for their unwavering support in making this event a success. We also appreciate the individuals who played key roles in organizing it, including Fromen Bensing, Umida Sobirova, Cathie Bennett, Eamon Saldana, Arnell Mitchell, Janelle Wong, Nagham Mahfood, Diyana Woldegebreal, Abiyu Hailemariam, Catherine Clark, Monica Moosbauer, Shimeles Kebede, Gladys Marimira, Beant Kaur, Kulwinder Sarai, and all our practicum staff and support staff. Your contributions have not gone unnoticed.

We’re also thankful for the guidance provided by the Mentorship Program’s Peer Mentors and Youth Advisory Council members.
