Program Team Lead, Communities
My name is Catherine Clark or Mama C to the hundreds of youths that I have worked with over the past 9 years in the Afterschool Program. My passion is helping youth navigate through high school, providing them with homework support, opportunities to gain knowledge, and have new experiences that will help them grow in confidence for their future school and work. I have the privilege of walking alongside these youths in the NxtGen Program as they find friendships and build connections in their school community.

Beant Kaur
Program Administrator
Hello, I'm Beant Kaur, and I relocated from India to Canada in 2021 with a degree in Information Technology and 7 years of work experience. Surprisingly, my job search didn't yield any interview calls. Following my husband's suggestion, I decided to further my studies, focusing on Database Administration, a field related to my expertise.
The journey wasn't easy, demanding significant effort, but my perseverance led to an internship opportunity at CBFY, an organization aiding immigrants like myself. This internship evolved into a full-time position, validating the challenges I faced.
Today, I take pride in working at CBFY, not just for personal fulfillment but also to facilitate the journey for fellow immigrants. I've realized that even in adversity, persistence can yield positive outcomes. Being part of a community that understands and supports newcomers is an amazing experience, and I'm grateful to contribute to such a supportive environment.
